Genesee County Emergency Preparedness
Program is responsible for collaborating
with public and private agencies to assure a
timely and effective response during a
public health emergency. On this page

increase your level of preparedness.
Personal and Family Preparedness
The Checklists outlined below were
created by the
Do 1 Thing program to help you
become more prepared. The mission of Do 1
Thing is to move individuals, families,
organizations, businesses, and communities to
prepare for all hazards and become disaster
resilient.

Health Threat Preparedness Committee
Emergency
Preparedness convenes a Health Threat
Preparedness Committee (HTPC) composed of
community partners from various agencies.
The HTPC meets quarterly. Contact April
