Waste Management
On-Site Sewage Disposal
This program controls disease
transmission, nuisances, and pollution resulting from exposure to human excrement.
Commercial and residential
waterborne wastes are managed through inspection of on-site sewage disposal systems,
issuance of permits for all new installations, and repairs of existing systems.
Sites are evaluated to determine suitability for development. Approximately 7,000 activities are conducted annually.
