No,
individual cases of MRSA are not
required to be reported in Michigan.

What
if there is more than one case of MRSA
in my school?
Outbreaks
of MRSA are required to be
reported to the GCHD.
An outbreak is defined as "three or more
culture positive cases in a facility"
Outbreaks
should be reported as soon as possible
to GCHD by calling 810-257-1017.
