Re: National HIV Testing Day, June 27, 2009
Although HIV infection is completely preventable, every 9˝ minutes, someone
in the United States is infected with the virus. That person could be you,
your brother, sister, father, mother, friend, co-worker or neighbor.
HIV counseling and testing enables people with HIV to take steps to protect
their own health and that of their partners. HIV testing also helps people
who test negative get the information they need to stay uninfected.
In
recognition of National HIV Test Day the Community Based Organization
Partners (CBOP) HIV Planning Committee has come together to offer FREE HIV
testing at the following events:
Flint Job Corps Health Conference
