RE:                              Health Department to Hold Press Conference

to Discuss Tuberculosis Test Results in Flint Schools

The Genesee County Health Department will hold a press conference Monday, April 9, 2007 to discuss preliminary TB test results from contacts tested at Flint Central High School.  The conference will take place at 11 a.m. in the Health Department's conference rooms 1-4 on the second floor of the McCree Courts and Human Services Building at 630 S. Saginaw St., Flint, Michigan. 

The conference will discuss initial skin test results from contacts who were tested in late March.  Further investigation steps and testing plans being taken by the Health Department and the Flint Community Schools will also be released. 

Following remarks describing the steps being taken, representatives from the Health Department and the Flint Community Schools will be available to answer questions.
