Department (GCHD) in collaboration with the Smoke-free,
Multi-Agency, Resource Team (SMART) will release the Genesee
County Smoke-free Dining Guide. The guide will be available

According to the recent Surgeon General’s Report “The Health
Consequences of Involuntary Exposure to Tobacco Smoke,”

smoke. Secondhand smoke has been designated as a known
human carcinogen (cancer-causing agent) by the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency, National Toxicology Program

carcinogen.
The Great American Smoke-out is
a great day for smokers to quit smoking and for
Genesee County
residents to support smoke-free environments. For more information
