     Genesee County Health Department 
has received additional doses of flu vaccine

     The Genesee County Health Department has just received 2,000 additional doses of the flu vaccine and is now offering the flu vaccine to anyone over 6 months of age at its regular immunization clinics:

• Burton Branch
  G-3373 S. Saginaw Street, Burton
  Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  8:00 - 11:00 am & 1:00 - 4:00 pm*
  Tuesday - 1:00 - 4:00 pm*
  

• McCree North Health Center
  115 E. Pierson Road, Flint
  Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  8:00 - 11:00 am & 1:00 - 4:00 pm*
  Closed Tuesday
  

Those seeking vaccination should bring their insurance and social security cards. The cost of the flu vaccine is $18.00.  The clinic will accept Medicaid, Medicare Part B, M-Care and Private Health Plus.  Immunizations will be given on a walk-in basis; no appointments are necessary.  High client volume early in the day may limit the number of new patients seen in the afternoon.
