Ladies: Experience the total beauty
look: "Healthy Inside, Beautiful Outside!" Join the
Genesee County Health Department and Local Area Salons for
important health information that can last a lifetime. Be one of
the many women in Genesee County to be a part of "The
Beautiful Black Woman Without Heart Disease" project May 14th
through May 25th.
As women get older they are at an increased risk for developing
cardiovascular disease. African American women have higher rates
of cardiovascular disease than women of other races.
Read and learn important facts about heart disease, and ways to
reduce your risk while relaxing with the other ladies at your area
salon. For participating in this project, you will receive
incentives, a chance to win prizes, and most importantly valuable
health information.
"The Beautiful Black Woman Without Heart
Disease" project is brought to you by the Genesee County
